Where to Eat in Bella Vista

Where to Eat in Bella Vista

Bella Vista doesn’t have a restaurant row. It has restaurants where you’ll already be — at the trailhead, the clubhouse, the marina, and the corner store.

Dining here follows the same logic as everything else in town. The city is spread through the forest rather than concentrated along a strip, so restaurants cluster near golf courses, trailheads, and a handful of small commercial centers off Highway 71. Most visitors split the difference: a few meals out based on where the day takes them, and a few cooked back at the rental with the grill going and the ridgeline as a backdrop.

Here’s where to eat, organized by the places you’ll pass through anyway.

At the trailhead

Gear Garden (Blowing Springs Park) is an open-air beer garden parked right at the trailhead — Trailhead Lager on draft, wine, and a rotating lineup of local food trucks. It’s tucked into a bluff ridgeline next to a small natural spring, open seasonally from spring through November. Check their site for the food truck schedule and live music nights.

Crazy Willy’s, parked at the Tanyard Creek waterfall trailhead, is the post-hike reward: Dole Whip and soft-serve.

At the clubhouse

BV Bar & Grill (98 Clubhouse Dr.) sits beside the Bella Vista Country Club and keeps it simple — classic American pub fare, a relaxed clubhouse feel, and happy hour Thursdays and Sundays. An easy stop after a round.

Highlands Pub & Patio, on-site at the Highlands course, does pizza and more for a post-round meal.

On the lake

Lakepoint Restaurant and Event Center overlooks Loch Lomond and the marina. Upscale plates, a well-curated wine list, and sweeping lake views make it the pick for a special-occasion dinner. Reservations recommended. If you’re on the water, it’s a paddle-in option.

Lancashire Boulevard

Bella’s Table (638 W Lancashire Blvd · 479-367-2509) is an Italian bistro and bar with patio seating and a quieter, dressed-up feel. Two doors down, Table À Pain (628 W Lancashire Blvd · 479-364-0647) is a French bakery-café built for breakfast, brunch, or an afternoon pastry and coffee.

Sugar Creek Center

Las Fajitas (479-855-7048) brings full-bar Mexican fare. Top China serves dependable Chinese classics for lunch and dinner. Vagabond Coffee, a newly opened independent shop, is the neighborhood’s coffee stop.

Cunningham Corner

JJ’s Grill (479-802-6455) is a lively sports bar with live music most nights, a daily happy hour, and kids eat free with an adult entrée — a favorite for a casual post-ride bite. Gusano’s Pizzeria next door pours a full bar alongside Chicago-style pizza and sandwiches. And Casey’s, the corner’s fuel stop, unofficially serves some of the best pizza in town.

Kingsdale

Little Sugar Bistro (4 Kingsdale Ln) is the go-to for breakfast and brunch, open into the early evening. It shares the complex with the Kingswood and Berksdale courses and the Little Sugar trail staging lot.

Forest Hills Boulevard

El Pueblito (1705 Forest Hills Blvd · 479-855-2324) serves dependable Mexican fare, open daily for lunch and dinner.

Highway 71, by the museum

Rosita’s Mexican Restaurant (1889 Bella Vista Way · 479-364-0493) sits in the former Veterans Hall, right next door to the Bella Vista Historical Museum — a handy Tex-Mex stop before or after a walk through the exhibits. Just up the road, Mai Chinese Food Truck serves traditional Chinese fare (closed Tuesdays).

Cooking in

Nearly every short-term rental in Bella Vista comes with a full kitchen and an outdoor grill, and plenty of visitors treat that as the main event. Allen’s Food Market in Sugar Creek has a hot deli counter locals lean on for picnic meals; Harps at Town Center makes sandwiches to order. Bella Vista Wine & Spirits (31 Cunningham Corner) stocks spirits, wine, and local craft beer — note that Arkansas blue laws keep it closed on Sundays, so plan ahead for a weekend stay.

One ask: the forest starts at the edge of the deck. Make sure coals are fully out and gas grills are shut off before you head inside.

Plan your plate around your day

The easiest way to eat well in Bella Vista is to pick your meal by where you’ll be when you’re hungry. Riding Blowing Springs? Gear Garden. Playing Kingswood? Little Sugar Bistro. Hiking Tanyard? Crazy Willy’s on the way out. For the full picture of where the trails and courses sit, see our guide to the trail systems and golf courses.
